New Consulate Compound, Dubai, UAE

The 96,875 square foot U.S. consulate compound in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is a $126 million design-build project which received LEED Gold certification by the Green Building Certification Institute.

Design partners H&A and PageSoutherlandPage utilized a comprehensive lighting design approach to minimize power consumption throughout the compound. The project facilities include a new office building, support annex, compound access control and a parking structure.

The consulate represents a significant commitment by the United States to a long-term presence in Dubai, allowing the Consulate General to increase the efficiency and accessibility of its services to the public.
