Merchants Walk at Oyster Point City Center

After the implementation plan for City Center at Oyster Point in Newport News was confirmed, city officials, the developer and the design team wanted Phase I of the project to set the tone for the rest of the development. Merchants Walk, incorporated a well-balanced mix of retail with unique shops and services. H&A designed Merchants Walk as a traditional Main Street with brick facades on the shops providing contrast to the modern pre-cast concrete and glass exterior of the office buildings. Merchants Walk features Ten Thousand Villages, Jamestown Pie Company, The Perfect Setting, Hayashi Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi, and Savvy Gardens.
