Virginia Natural Gas

In order to streamline expenses and improve operations, Virginia Natural Gas decided to consolidate four regional locations and move its 110 employees into a new Virginia Beach facility.

Working under a design-build contract, the team developed both the shell building and the interior tenant improvements. This two-story, 33,000 square foot office building features a façade composed of brick veneer, reflective insulated glass, anodized aluminum entrances, windows, and a curtain wall.

To meet the client’s goals for energy-efficiency, the building was designed with sustainable design criteria, including maximized day lighting, water efficiency, energy-efficient HVAC systems, and recycled materials. The building was awarded LEED certification by the U.S. Green Building Council.
