Hilton Garden Inn

For the first downtown hotel in the city of Virginia Beach, the developers attracted a national hotel brand that specializes in serving business clientele.

The design team synthesized a sophisticated urban hotel from the chain’s standard suburban prototype while meeting the signature standards of the Hilton brand. The Hilton’s "garden-style" design was modified so that the footprint fit within the dense city block. At 100,915 square feet, the hotel rises seven stories to accommodate 176 guestrooms, meeting space, an indoor pool, a fitness center, and a "Pavilion Pantry convenience mart.
