CDA Approves Building Construction Plans for US Embassy in Islamabad
The Capital Development Authority (CDA) formally approved the building plans and granted permission for the construction of the US Embassy in Islamabad!
The project is among the largest construction works undertaken by the US Department of State Bureau of Overseas Building Operations (OBO) with a six-year construction schedule and over 1.6 million square feet of building area.
The State Department of the US is quoted to have said that the construction of this new embassy building reflects the importance of bilateral relationships between the United States of America and Pakistan.
