Senior Associate/Civil Department Head

Will joined H&A as a senior engineer in the civil engineering department in 2002. The position afforded Will the opportunity to travel internationally and manage interesting civil projects all over the world. He was promoted to associate in 2006. Will earned the title of senior associate and was promoted to his current position of civil department head in 2009.

Will earned a bachelors in civil engineering and a masters in business administration at Virginia Tech. His MBA curriculum included international residences in Vietnam and China that complemented the expertise lectures in accounting, finance, information systems, marketing, operations and strategic management.

Will’s focus today is to position the civil department to fully support all of the H&A markets as they transition from $40 million in revenue to $100 million in revenue. Will leads by example and has an infectious “can do” attitude that permeates throughout the entire civil department.
