Senior Associate/Construction Administration/Quality Assurance Department Head

Jared began his career in structural engineering at firms in Atlanta and Richmond where he specialized in the design of challenging projects, including high rise buildings and cable stay bridges. He joined H&A as a senior structural engineer in 2003. He left briefly in 2008 to help manage his family's business but returned in 2010 and was soon named chief structural engineer. Jared was named senior associate in 2011 and was recently made department head of the construction administration and quality assurance department.

Jared earned a bachelors and masters in civil engineering with an emphasis in structural engineering from Virginia Tech and is currently pursuing his MBA at Virginia Commonwealth University. He is active in the American Council of Engineering Companies of Virginia where he currently serves as the chair of the public relations committee.
